Zirakpur hospital sealed after 9 staff take a look at optimistic for Covid

A non-public hospital, AMCARE, on VIP Road in Zirakpur has been sealed for public after 9 of its staff, together with the top of the ICU and nursing workers, returned Covid-19 optimistic on Sunday.

As a precautionary measure, the well being division has sealed the premises. The sufferers who have been admitted to the hospital have been discharged.

The head of the ICU, a resident of Silver City, remains to be admitted to the hospital whereas the opposite staff are beneath house isolation.

The well being division can also be investigating the demise of a hospital worker — suspected to be a Covid-19 optimistic case.

Dhakoli Community Health Centre CMO Pommy Chatrath mentioned, “The OPD has been closed for the patients. The process of contact tracing will start shortly.”
