A younger man in his early twenties, allegedly kidnapped a 15-year-old lady from her home, married her Forcibly and later, posted photographs of their ‘marriage ceremony’ on Facebook.
Seeing the photographs, the police rescued the lady, whereas the youth remains to be on the run.
According to the grievance filed by the lady’s father, he and his spouse had gone to fulfill his brother on Raksha Bandhan when the youth, with the assistance of his relations, kidnapped their daughter and stole Rs 50,000 money from the home after locking their youthful daughter in a room.
Following the grievance, an FIR was registered in opposition to the accused and police began trying to find the lady, however the breakthrough got here on Thursday when the photographs appeared on social media.
Baradari police station SHO Sheetanshu Singh stated that even when the lady had gone with the youth based on her will, it might be thought of as abduction since she is a minor. Her medical examination was carried out on Thursday and related sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act and rape would now be added to the FIR.”
He stated that the assertion of the lady might be recorded below part 164 of the CrPC.
“We have, meanwhile, deployed teams to nab the accused and his aides,” the SHO stated.
He added that the lady could be handed over to the household after her medical examination and recording her assertion within the courtroom. IANS
