India’s COVID-19 tally zoomed previous 13 lakhs on Saturday, simply two days after it crossed the 12 lakh-mark, whereas the recoveries mounted to eight,49,431, based on the Union Health Ministry.

Meghalaya has reported 588 instances, Sikkim 477, Mizoram 361, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands 259 instances.
“Our figures are being reconciled with the ICMR,” the Ministry stated, including that state-wise distribution of figures is topic to additional verification and reconciliation. PTI
