Police had resorted to teargas and lathicharge at the Singhu border on Friday after a group of people claiming to be locals clashed with the protesting farmers

New Delhi, January 30

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday temporarily suspended Internet services at the Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri borders besides the adjoining areas till 11 pm of January 31.

This was stated by officials.

Police had resorted to teargas and lathicharge at the Singhu border on Friday after a group of people claiming to be locals clashed with the protesting farmers asking them to vacate the site.

Farmers have been protesting against the new farm laws at the Delhi borders for more than two months now. PTI
