Watch: 2 paragliders get trapped in pine bushes in Dharamsala, rescued by locals

Two paragliders had a miraculous escape in Dharamsala on Wednesday after their paragliding gears acquired trapped in pine bushes close to Indrunag hill. 

Both locals, the paragliders had taken off from Indrunag hill within the afternoon and acquired caught amid bushes just a little after retreating. The duo had been rescued by locals and none of them suffered any critical harm.

Sources mentioned the paragliders failed to seek out wind thermals after leaping from the cliff because the climate was cloudy. Instead of going up, they began descending instantly after take-off, it’s learnt.

Tandem paragliding is carried out for vacationers from the hill by native youths. When winds are beneficial, it takes about 15 minutes for paragliders to land in vacant fields close to Dari-Khaniara roads after take-off from the cluff. The sport is a large hit amongst vacationers visiting Dharamsala. The tandem flights, nonetheless, stay banned since Covid lockdown was imposed within the state. The paragliders who met with an accident on Wednesday had been themselves practising.
