‘Unattended’ for 45 minutes, lady dies

An aged lady reportedly remained unattended for almost 45 minutes after she fell unconscious on the steps of a Covid ward at Government Rajindra Hospital right here final night.

She died inside a number of hours after she was rushed to the intensive care unit. The hospital authorities have ordered an inquiry by forming a three-member committee.

In a video of the incident, which has gone viral, the girl was seen mendacity unconscious on the steps and a person was heard saying that nobody had come to her rescue regardless of repeated requests.
