An outdated girl, reportedly, was mendacity unattended for round 45 minutes, on the stairs of COVID ward of Government Rajindra Hospital, on Saturday afternoon.
The mentioned woman is claimed to have died inside a couple of hours after she was taken to COVID-ICU from there.
Meanwhile, the hospital authorities have ordered an inquiry into the matter, by forming a three-member committee, that in-turn submitted the preliminary investigation report back to the authority.
In a video of the incident, which has already gone viral, the woman is seen mendacity unconscious on the steps, and a voice of the male is heard within the video saying: “No one is coming to rescue of the lady even after repeated requests.”
As per the preliminary investigation, the affected person was admitted to the hospital at round 12.30 pm on Saturday—with oxygen saturation (SPO2) stage beneath the crucial stage.
At round 2 pm, the affected person’s oxygen saturation had dropped to 91 per cent. The affected person after 2 pm, reportedly, went out of the ICU ward, on her personal, and fell on the steps: reportedly on account of no provide of oxygen. Ironically, nobody noticed the woman going out of the ward—given there have been medical doctors and nurses within the COVID ward.
The employees nurse at round 2.30 pm raised an alarm that the woman affected person was not on her mattress and mendacity on the steps, as per the preliminary inquiry.
At round three pm, the affected person was placed on ventilator help, nevertheless, the woman was declared useless round 6 pm, in response to the hospital authorities.
Dr Rajan Singla, principal, GMC, mentioned, “Preliminary investigation has already been finished by the three-member committee and submitted to greater authorities. However, the committee will proceed its investigations into the matter—for closing findings.
