Soldier, militant killed in J-K’s Pulwama

A soldier and an unidentified militant had been killed in an operation in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, officers stated.

The gunfight erupted at Kamrazipora, Pulwama after joint groups of forces launched a search operation following an enter about militant presence.

“As the suspected area was being cordoned militants opened fire in which a soldier was critically wounded. The fire was retaliated and in the gunfight, one unidentified militant has been killed so far,” a safety official stated.

The injured soldier later succumbed to his accidents.

The id of the slain soldier couldn’t be established instantly.

Army stated one AK rifle, together with grenades, pouches and different warlike shops, was recovered from the encounter web site.

“Search operation is in progress,” Army assertion stated.
