SC retains in abeyance its order appointing Justice Lokur panel to watch steps taken to stop stubble-burning


New Delhi, October 26

The Supreme Court on Monday kept in abeyance its October 16 order appointing ex-judge Justice MB Lokur (retd) panel to monitor steps taken to prevent stubble-burning.

The apex court, while keeping its earlier order in abeyance, considered the Centre’s stand that it is coming out with a comprehensive law on air pollution. PTI
