Moscow, September 9
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday stated he held “excellent talks” together with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov throughout which they mentioned bilateral strategic ties and exchanged views on the worldwide scenario.
Jaishankar is on a four-day go to to Russia to attend a gathering of the Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
“Excellent talks that reflect our special and privileged strategic partnership,” Jaishankar tweeted.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia, India and China (RIC) will maintain a luncheon assembly on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Moscow, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday.
Earlier within the day, Jaishankar held separate bilateral conferences together with his Kyrgyz and Tajik counterparts and mentioned methods to spice up India’s strategic partnership with the 2 Central Asian international locations. — PTI
