A day after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested her, Rhea Chakraborty was on Wednesday shifted from the anti-drug company’s workplace in south Mumbai to the Byculla jail right here.
Shortly after her arrest on Tuesday in a medication case linked to her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s dying, she was despatched in judicial custody until September 22 by an area courtroom.
On Wednesday, she stepped out of the NCB workplace at 10.15 am after spending the evening there and was taken to the Byculla jail by the company officers.
The courtroom had rejected her bail software. The NCB had instructed the courtroom that she was an “active member” of a medication syndicate and procured medication for Rajput, her boyfriend.
