Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh’s son, Raninder Singh, is unlikely to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday in an alleged Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violation case.

Raninder has sought an adjournment from the ED.

His lawyer and Congress Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill said, “My client is required to be present before the Parliamentary Standing Committee for a hearing in relation to Olympic Games 2021 and has also sought details from ED of the case in relation to which he has been summoned, as the summon is vague.”
