Rajasthan Police’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case in reference to two audio clips of conversations purportedly concerning a “conspiracy” to topple the Ashok Gehlot authorities.
ACB Director General Alok Tripathi on Saturday stated the FIR was registered below the Prevention of Corruption Act on a grievance by Congress chief whip Mahesh Joshi on Friday. In the FIR, particulars of conversations of insurgent Congress MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma with Sanjay Jain and Union minister Gajendra Singh are talked about. While the Congress alleged that Sanjay Jain was a BJP chief, the saffron get together rejected the allegation, saying he had no reference to the BJP. “We will send the audio clips to the Forensic Science Laboratory for testing,” the police official advised reporters.

Prior to the ACB, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police had registered two FIRs on Friday morning and arrested Sanjay Jain in reference to one case on Friday evening.
