A Punjab Police workforce carried out a raid at former state DGP Sumedh Singh Saini’s home in Chandigarh early on Friday morning. Saini was not at dwelling on the time.
Police sources mentioned officers of the Mohali police and the SOG (Special Operations Group) have been a part of the raiding workforce.
A Mohali courtroom had reserved orders for a day on Thursday on Saini’s bail software within the Multani disappearance case. The courtroom had added Section 302 of the IPC within the case towards Saini not too long ago.
Two Chandigarh police officers, co-accused within the case, had turned approvers, detailing how Multani was allegedly picked, tortured and killed.
