To examine profiteering by personal hospitals in the course of the present pandemic, the Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Government has mounted their COVID therapy charges.
The determination was introduced on Thursday after a COVID assessment Video Conference (VC) assembly chaired by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
The charges, finalised for Private Hospitals and Medical Colleges by Dr Okay.Okay. Talwar Committee, cowl isolation beds, ICU therapy and hospitalisation fees, per day of admission.
For Moderate Sickness requiring Isolation Beds, together with supportive care and oxygen, the charges per day of admission are mounted at Rs 10,000 for all Private Medical Colleges / NABH Private Hospitals with educating programme from NBE, Rs 9000 for NABH accredited Hospitals (Including Private Medical Colleges with out PG/DNB Course) and Rs. 8000 for Non- NABH accredited Hospitals.
The charges throughout these classes of hospitals for Severe Sickness (ICU with out want for ventilator) have been capped, respectively, at Rs. 15,000, Rs. 14,000 and Rs. 13,000, whereas for Very Severe or Critical sufferers, these are mounted at Rs. 18,000, Rs. 16,500 and Rs. 15,000 respectively.
All these charges are inclusive of PPE price, in response to an official spokesperson.
In order to encourage personal hospitals to cater to Mild Sickness circumstances additionally, the Dr Talwar Committee has additionally mounted per day admission charges for such circumstances at Rs. 6,500, Rs. 5,500 and Rs. 4,500 respectively.
