Punjab cancels college, school exams

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday introduced cancellation of college and school exams within the state in view of the Covid pandemic although the exams at present being carried out on-line by some universities will proceed uninterrupted.

In his weekly #AskCaptain Facebook Live session, the CM stated that college and school college students could be promoted on the premise of their earlier efficiency. However, the scholars would have the choice take the examination later as soon as the Covid disaster was over.

“Universities and colleges are in the process of working out the modalities for implementing the decision,” he stated, urging the scholars to proceed with their research in proper earnest regardless of the cancellation of their exams.

For ex-servicemen attempting to make it to the PCS, Capt Amarinder introduced that whereas SC candidates showing within the normal class would proceed to get limitless possibilities, ex-servicemen within the normal class would get six and people within the BC class 9.
