Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Gurdwara Rakabganj near Parliament House in New Delhi and paid tributes to Guru Tegh Bahadur for his supreme sacrifice.
The sudden visit caught the Gurudwara authorities by surprise as the PM came at a short notice.
No police arrangements or traffic barriers were in place for the visit to avoid inconvenience to devotees, official sources said.
