Panjab University 2nd, HAU third in Atal training rankings

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, and Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University, Haryana, are among the many prime seven government-aided universities within the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), 2020, launched by Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu right this moment.

The annual rankings issued by the Education Ministry characteristic establishments in 5 classes — government-aided faculties, personal faculties, institutes of nationwide significance, government-aided deemed universities and personal deemed universities.

While PU and the agricultural varsity are positioned second and third amongst government-aided universities, the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Maharashtra, tops this class.

IIT-Madras leads the rankings within the prime 10 listing of institutes of nationwide significance, adopted by IIT-Bombay; IIT-Delhi; Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; IIT-Kharagpur; IIT-Kanpur; and IIT-Mandi.

The institutes have been ranked on funds, infrastructure, concept technology, entrepreneurship, commercialisation, studying strategies and governance. Atal rankings are India’s home rankings meant to push excellence and world competitiveness amongst larger training institutes.
