Ahead of the primary anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, a BJP panch was injured in a suspected militant assault in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district late Tuesday.
Arif Ahmad, BJP’s Devsar (Kulgam) constituency vice-president, was wounded when militants fired at him close to his residence at Akhran in Qazigund. A police officer stated Arif had firearm damage within the neck and his situation was vital. “He has been shifted to hospital,” he added.
