The Supreme Court on Monday refused to direct the Centre and states to formulate tips for offering sufficient ex-gratia financial compensation to the following of kin of those that died as a result of COVID-19.

Each state might have a distinct system relying upon its coverage and monetary situation and there cannot be judicial instructions for it, mentioned the highest court docket.
