Narcotics Bureau searches premises of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother over medicine in Sushant dying case


Mumbai, September 4

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday performed searches on the premises of Showik Chakraborty, brother of essential accused Rhea Chakraborty, and Samuel Miranda in reference to the medicine probe linked to the dying of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officers stated.      

They stated each Showik and Miranda, home supervisor of Rajput, have been handed over summons to affix the investigation in the course of the raids that began early morning.

An NCB officer stated as there was quite a lot of media presence in the course of the raids, each advised the sleuths that they are going to come together with NCB staff.

They are being taken by the NCB search staff and shall be questioned now, the officer stated.

The NCB has arrested two alleged drug peddlers working within the capital metropolis of Maharashtra on this case until now and it has detained one individual.

The company has filed a case below the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after the ED shared with it a report following the cloning of two cell phones of Rhea.

Rajput was discovered lifeless at his Bandra flat on June 14. PTI
