Narcotics Bureau raids Rhea’s brother Showik over medication in Sushant dying case

Mumbai, September 4

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday performed searches on the premises of Showik Chakraborty, brother of foremost accused Rhea Chakraborty, and Samuel Miranda in reference to the medication probe linked to the dying of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officers mentioned.      

They mentioned each Showik and Miranda, home supervisor of Rajput, had been handed over summons to affix the investigation in the course of the raids that began early morning.

An NCB officer mentioned as there was numerous media presence in the course of the raids, each informed the sleuths that they are going to come together with NCB crew.

They are being taken by the NCB search crew and will likely be questioned now, the officer mentioned.

The NCB has arrested two alleged drug peddlers working within the capital metropolis of Maharashtra on this case until now and it has detained one individual.

The company has filed a case underneath the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after the ED shared with it a report following the cloning of two cellphones of Rhea.
