Liquor with faux labels seized in Ambala

The police have seized illicit liquor in bottles with labels of fashionable IMFL manufacturers —McDowell’s No 1, Old Monk, Imperial Blue and Royal Challenge — from two godowns at Mandour village right here.

Sources mentioned the liquor was allegedly smuggled to Gujarat and Rajasthan in bins of aloe vera juice. The police recognized the important thing suspect as Nikhil Patel from Gujarat. The lid was blown off the rip-off after a transporter, whom Patel allegedly approached to ferry 150 bins in a Canter to Gujarat, bought suspicious and hastened to tell the police.

Targeting manufacturers
