Lavasa set to affix as ADB vice-president

New Delhi, July 15

Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa, who is understood for his dissenting views within the ballot panel, is all set to affix Asian Development Bank (ADB) at Manila, because the multilateral monetary company has appointed him its vice-president to take care of non-public sector operations.

The ADB stated, “He has a long and distinguished career in the Indian civil service. He is currently one of the election commissioners.” — TNS
