A senior physician in Kashmir who was on the forefront of the battle towards COVID-19 died at a hospital right here on Sunday after contracting the illness, officers stated.
Dr Mohammad Ashraf Mir, a resident of Pampore space of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, handed away within the morning on the SKIMS hospital in Soura right here, they stated.
The officers stated Mir had been treating COVID-19 sufferers for the previous 4 months and within the course of, contracted the virus.
