The City Commissionerate Police have busted an inter-state racket concerned in pushing of unlawful arms and ammunition in Punjab. Besides arresting seven members of the community from varied districts, the cops have seized 12 pistols of 0.32 bore and 15 reside cartridges.
The accused have been recognized as Suraj (21) of New Rajan Nagar, Basti Peer Daad, Vijay Kumar (25) of Bhikha, Adampur Jalandhar, Jobanjeet Singh (22) of Arjan Maanga village, Amritsar, Sahil Saini (27) of Prem Nagar, Pathankot, Amritpal Singh (24) of Bhoma in Batala, Keshav Khera (23) of Hakimi Gate, Amritsar, and Harmandeep Singh (24) of Kheri Veer Singh, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar stated on September 9 they acquired data that relating to an individual had sustained a bullet harm and initiated a probe. The injured recognized as Abhinav Misra of Pilibhit, UP and was admitted to a hospital.

A case beneath sections 307, 188 of IPC, 25, 54 and 59 of Arms Act, three of Epidemic Diseases Act and 51 of the Disaster Management Act has been registered within the case.
