The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has named 19 individuals together with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar within the chargesheet within the 2019 Pulwama assault case.
In February 2019, suicide bomber Adil Dar, an area, rammed his explosive-laden automobile into CRPF bus at Lethpora Pulwama leaving 40 personnel of the pressure lifeless. The assault was adopted by Balakote air strikes. A day later Pakistan retaliated and it triggered a short dogfight. The Pulwama assault had introduced India and Pakistan on the brink of conflict.
The NIA took over the investigation of case every week after the blast and filed the chargesheet earlier than a particular NIA court docket in Jammu on Tuesday.
The Jaish chief Masood Azhar, his brothers Abdul Rauf Asghar and Ammar Alvi and 16 others have been named by the NIA within the chargesheet. Among the 19 accused, six are Pakistanis and three amongst them, recognized as Muhammad Umar Farooq, Qari Yasir and Mohammad Kamran Ali, have been killed.
Jaish was based in January 2000 by Masood Azhar, who was one of many three militants launched as a part of the 1999 Kandahar hijack prisoner swap. He can be blamed by India for the Pathankot assault.
