India right this moment rejected reference to J&Okay in a joint assertion issued on the second spherical of China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue that ended on Friday.
MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava mentioned: “We categorically reject the reference. J&K is an integral and inalienable part of India and we expect the parties concerned not to interfere in the internal affairs of India.” “At the same time, we also reiterate our consistent position on the so-called China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC),” he added.
India has repeatedly conveyed its considerations to each China and Pakistan on the initiatives within the CPEC, that are within the territory of India that has been illegally occupied by Pakistan. “We oppose actions by other countries that change the status quo in Pakistan-occupied J&K,” mentioned Srivastava.
