IED recovered in J-Ok’s Pulwama, main tragedy averted

Srinagar, August 17

A significant tragedy was averted on Monday when the safety forces recovered an improvised explosive system (IED) planted by militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The police mentioned an IED planted by militants underneath a bridge close to Tujan village in Pulwama was detected and recovered by the safety forces.

Militants have been planting IEDs on roads and highways to focus on passing automobiles of the safety forces in Kashmir.

To thwart the militant designs, events of safety forces assisted by sniffer canine and digital gear transfer out first to safe roads and highways.

These skilled events of the safety forces are often known as street opening events (ROPs). IANS
