Himachal opens its border; no go or registration required to enter state

The Himachal authorities has thrown open its borders, as from now onwards no go or registration can be required to enter the state.

The resolution was taken by the Cabinet at its assembly chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur right here on Tuesday. However, in view of the sharp improve in Covid circumstances and associated fatality, it has been determined to not resume inter-state public transport.

The Cabinet in its final assembly had determined to increase the system of obligatory registration on the Covid portal for all these eager to enter the state until September 15. With the cupboard resolution at this time anyone, be it native of Himachal or vacationers can enter the state freely.

The resolution comes at a time when document eight deaths have already taken place at this time and the circumstances more likely to cross 10,000. Though separate SOPs have been put in place for vacationers however now with opening of borders, the state is probably going to provide free entry to everybody.
