Haryana to get three extra medical schools

In preserving along with his announcement to arrange a medical faculty in each district of Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accredited the organising of three new medical schools within the state, moreover beginning DM (cardiology) course at Pt BD Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak.

An official spokesman mentioned the brand new medical schools would come up in Sirsa, Kaithal and Yamunanagar districts. Each of those schools would have 150 seats initially and the quantity can be raised to 300 or 500 seats subsequently.

One of the medical schools can be arrange on Haryana Agricultural University’s land in Sirsa, whereas one other one would come up at Sarpankheri village in Kaithal district. The third faculty can be arrange on panchayat land in Yamunanagar district.

Eleven medical schools are already useful within the state. Of these, 5 are authorities, 5 non-public and one is an aided medical faculty.

The spokesman mentioned the DM (cardiology) course at Pt BD Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, would run underneath the Medical Council of India.
