A six-year-old grandson of a dealer was rescued and 5 individuals who allegedly kidnapped him had been arrested after an encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district on Saturday, officers stated.

The grandson of gutkha dealer Rajesh Kumar Gupta was standing at a distance when the suspects approached him to offer hand sanitiser and pulled him contained in the automobile. Later, the household bought a name from a lady for a ransom Rs four crore, a police official stated.

In a joint operation, the particular job power (STF) and the police rescued the kid and arrested 5 kidnappers following an encounter, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi stated.
