Govt seeks purposes from kids, partner of terror victims for MBBS, BDS programs

The Union Home Ministry has sought purposes from the partner and kids of victims of terrorist assaults for pursuing MBBS and BDS programs in medical and dental faculties below the central pool.

In a communication, the house ministry has conveyed to all states about allocation of MBBS and BDS seats from the central pool to the partner and kids of terror victims and made it clear that no separate examination will probably be carried out and choice will probably be made solely on the idea of marks obtained by the scholars in NEET and possessing vital training qualification.

Children or partner of an individual who has been killed in an act of terrorism is eligible for software below the scheme, a house ministry official mentioned.

“It is requested that the State government(s), Union Territory administration(s) may kindly give wide publicity while inviting application(s) from eligible candidates as indicated above for the academic year 2020-21 for allocation of MBBS and BDS seats from central pool for spouse and children of terrorist victims,” the ministry communication mentioned.

The states and UTs had been requested to make sure that full software of eligible candidates within the prescribed format in duplicate enclosing all vital paperwork in respect of their states and UTs together with due verification or authentication and counter signatures of the competent authority must be despatched to the house ministry inside 15 days after the declaration of the outcomes of NEET-UG 2020.
