Global coverage in tatters, India shedding respect in every single place, says Rahul

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce assault on the federal government’s international coverage on Wednesday saying the nation is shedding energy and respect in every single place and the present dispensation doesn’t know what to do.

“India’s global strategy is in tatters. We are losing power and respect everywhere and the Government of India (GOI) has no idea what to do,” he tweeted.

He cited a media report that claimed that Iran has dropped India from the Chabahar rail venture, citing funding delays.

The information report claimed that Iranian authorities has determined to proceed within the development of a rail line by itself from Chabahar port to Zahaden alongside the border with Afghanistan citing delays from Indian aspect in funding and beginning the venture.

India had signed an settlement with Iran to assemble a rail line from Chabahar port to Zahedan, alongside the border with Afghanistan.
