Exit polls give Congress- RJD’s Mahagathbandhan slight edge in Bihar

Tribune Web Desk
Chandigarh, November 7

Exit polls for Bihar elections have predicted a Mahagathbandhan government of the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance as the state completes its third phase of elections.

Republic TV Jan Ki Baat, Times Now and ABP News polls show a close race between the two major alliances—the National Democratic Alliance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United) and the Grand Coalition of the Congress and the RJD—but show that the Mahagathbandhan will likely win, although there will be a strong opposition.

Bihar completed its last phase of voting on Saturday. Votes will be counted on November 10.

Today’s Chankaya gives the RJD-Congress alliance 44 per cent vote share,  BJP- JDU+ 34 per cent and others 22 per cent. The prediction has 3 per cent error margin.
