Energetic caseload drops to three.62%

New Delhi, December 13

India’s active caseload today dropped to 3.62 per cent of the total. The toll climbed to 1,43,019 with 391 deaths in the past 24 hours. The national recovery rate is 94.93 per cent.

India is among the countries with lowest cases per million (158) in the past one week. Kerala led with 5,949, followed by Maharashtra 4,259 and Bengal 1,935. Nearly 80 per cent of the new fatalities were reported from Maharashtra (80), Delhi (47), Bengal (44), Kerala (32), UP (31) and Punjab (21). — TNS
