Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday mentioned there was a downward development in COVID-19 positivity charge within the nationwide capital and it’ll result in good outcomes by subsequent week.

“The positivity rate was 6.76 per cent on Friday. It has remained below 7 per cent in the last two-three days. Last week, it was around 8 per cent,” he mentioned.

The cumulative positivity charge has additionally dropped beneath 10 per cent for the primary time, Jain mentioned.

The minister mentioned as a result of elevated testing over the past 10 to 12 days, Delhi has been witnessing a “downward trend” within the COVID-19 positivity charge over the previous two to a few days.

“It should lead to good results by next week,” he mentioned.

On Friday, town reported 4,127 new instances and 30 deaths. As many as 61,037 assessments had been carried out and the positivity charge stood at 6.76 per cent.

The cumulative positivity charge was 9.83 on Friday, down from 10.05 per cent on Tuesday. PTI
