Delhi airport launches portal, flyers can go for on-line quarantine exemption

New Delhi, August 7

The Delhi International Airport has launched a portal to facilitate inbound passengers to file their necessary self-declaration type and eligible passengers to use for exemption from obligatory institutional quarantine for Covid.

“The portal will help make passengers’ journey contactless as they won’t have to fill physical copies of the self-declaration form and quarantine exemption form at the time of arrival in India,” airport authorities mentioned.

According to the federal government tips from August eight onwards, 5 classes of passengers can get exemption from the necessary seven-day institutional quarantine — pregnant ladies; those that have suffered loss of life within the household; these affected by a severe sickness; mother and father accompanying kids under 10 years of age; those that have Covid-negative certificates from a check achieved 96 hours previous to the journey. — TNS
