Congress employees and Haryana Police confront one another as Rahul Gandhi tries to cross border

Congress leaders and Haryana Police had a confrontation with each other at the Punjab-Haryana border on Tuesday as Rahul Gandhi tried to cross the Haryana border.

Youth Congress leaders and workers from Punjab Congress were adamant to enter Haryana even as Haryana Police made appeal to them not to enter the state.

Barricades and nakas laid by Haryana Police were thrown by Congress workers who are ahead of the Rahul Gandhi-led tractor procession.

Haryana Police made fervent appeals to Congress workers not to break law even as hundreds threw the barricades in flowing choe near the passage.

Rahul Gandhi along with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh still on tractor as Youth Congress workers are trying to push Haryana cops at the barricades border.

The tension ended as Haryana Police allowed selective Congress leaders to enter Haryana with a few supporters.
