Citing ‘loneliness’, Rajasthan permits households to fulfill Covid sufferers


Jaipur, September 19

Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma on Friday directed officers to permit relations of coronavirus sufferers to fulfill them after carrying PPE package and different protecting gear, in accordance with a press release.

Later, Health Department Principal Secretary Akhil Arora issued instructions, citing “loneliness” of coronavirus sufferers and the stress prompted resulting from it. 

According to the directions, relations of sufferers can meet them by adopting all protecting measures akin to PPE package, masks, gloves and sustaining required distance throughout visiting hours determined by the hospital. 

Besides, relations of sufferers also can give them residence cooked meals in accordance with the prescribed protocol. 

Directions have been given to make sure ample portions of wheel chairs/stretchers and a small oxygen cylinder on the assist desk. PTI
