Can take pics, movies whereas flying, says DGCA

Clarifying additional its yesterday’s order on in-flight images, the DGCA has mentioned passengers can take photographs and movies inside plane however can’t use any recording gear that “creates chaos, disrupts flight operations, violates safety norms or is banned by the crew members”.

Last Friday, the aviation regulator had requested IndiGo to take “appropriate action” after it discovered alleged violation of security and bodily distancing protocols by mediapersons within the airliner’s Chandigarh-Mumbai flight that had actor Kangana Ranaut on board.

The aviation regulator had on Saturday ordered that in case of any violation (images), the schedule of the flight for that specific route can be suspended for 2 weeks from the subsequent day (of the incident).
