Ashok Gehlot camp MLAs to be shifted to Jaisalmer

The MLAs of the Ashok Gehlot camp, who’ve been staying at a resort on the Jaipur-Delhi Highway amid the continuing political disaster in Rajasthan, can be shifted to Jaisalmer on Friday, Congress sources mentioned.

The MLAs can be shifted after the Congress Legislature Party assembly within the resort, sources mentioned, including that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot would tackle the MLAs.

The MLAs have been staying within the resort since July 13 after Sachin Pilot and 18 different Congress MLAs rebelled in opposition to the federal government triggering the political disaster.

Sources didn’t elaborate on the explanations for shifting the MLAs.

Gehlot on Thursday indicated that he would search a confidence vote when the meeting convenes subsequent fortnight and claimed that the cash supplied to the MLAs to change sides had elevated sharply forward of the session.

The chief minister mentioned the rebels who had not accepted cash ought to return to the celebration fold. PTI
