Army JCO killed in firing alongside LoC in J-K’s Rajouri

Jammu, August 30  

A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Army was killed on Sunday in a firing incident alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, defence sources mentioned.

The firing from throughout the border began quickly after the Army observed some suspicious motion alongside the LoC in Nowshera sector, the sources mentioned.

They mentioned the Indian troops retaliated strongly and within the change of firing, a JCO was hit by a bullet and later succumbed to accidents.

The cross-border firing was occurring when the final experiences got here in, the sources mentioned, including additional particulars are awaited. PTI
