Army jawan killed, Major amongst 2 harm in Pak firing

Jammu, September 15

An Army jawan was killed, whereas two others, together with a Major, suffered accidents as Pakistani troops violated ceasefire through the use of heavy hearth and mortar shells alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani, Rajouri district.

Jammu-based defence spokesperson mentioned, “In the afternoon, Pakistan initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation. Some accidents have been reported.”

The violation was reported within the Mala space, manned by 17 Madras Unit of 28 Infantry Brigade, of round 1.20 pm.

Sources mentioned one of many injured soliders — a rifleman — succumbed to his accidents, whereas two others, together with a Major, had been shifted to the Army Hospital in Akhnoor.
