Amid reconciliation talks, Cong leaders trace at Rahul-Pilot meet

Political circles in Rajasthan have been on Monday agog with talks of a possible decision to the disaster arising out of riot by Congress MLAs owing allegiance to Sachin Pilot. Congress sources claimed that the Pilot camp lawmakers will meet Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal through the day and even meet with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi thereafter.

The Congress sources mentioned that veteran celebration chief Ahmed Patel had pitched in to resolve the difficulty that had threatened the survival of the Ashok Gehlot authorities after the Pilot camp raised a banner of revolt over the state management.

The Congress had sacked Pilot as Deputy Chief Minister and the Rajasthan Congress President. So far, Gehlot has stayed put within the CM chair amid claims and counter-claims on makes an attempt to poach MLAs.

On Sunday night time, a Congress Legislature Party assembly was held in a Jaisalmer resort, the place MLAs from the Gehlot camp are lodged. In this assembly, they held combined views on taking again the rebels into the celebration fold.

While just a few MLAs instructed that the insurgent camp chief ought to be taken again in view of the “wafer-thin margin” of the Gehlot authorities over the opposition within the Assembly, others weren’t able to budge and weren’t in favour of taking again the Pilot followers.

Meanwhile, the Gehlot camp in Jaisalmer is preserving a cautious eye on any improvement in Delhi vis-a-vis the proposed assembly.

A senior Congress employee confirmed to IANS that just a few Ministers from Rajasthan had hinted to the assembly and that the views of celebration MLAs have been sought forward of the scheduled assembly on reinducting Pilot and his loyalist MLAs.–IANS
