2 useless as violence erupts at panchayat assembly in UP’s Pratapgarh

A person and his son died after they sustained extreme accidents in a violent conflict between two events throughout a panchayat assembly in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh district on Sunday, police mentioned.

After the incident passed off at Sheikhpur village in Raniganj space, three policemen, together with a sub-inspector, have been suspended for laxity in obligation, they mentioned.

According to Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh, a panchayat assembly was known as to settle a land dispute between Dayashankar Mishra (60) and Chandramani Mishra.

During the assembly, a violent conflict passed off between the 2 sides through which Dayashankar, his son Anand Mishra (28) and Chandramani sustained extreme accidents, Singh mentioned.

They have been rushed to the district hospital, the place Dayashankar and Anand have been declared useless, whereas Chandramani was referred to a medical facility in Prayagraj, the SP mentioned.

The our bodies have been despatched for autopsy, the officer added.

Sub-inspector Rajesh Rai, head constable Buddhan Prasad and constable Rama Yadav have been suspended for laxity in obligation and one suspect, recognized as Rajesh Mishra, arrested for the violence, police mentioned. — PTI
