2 Ambala males arrested in Himachal’s Mandi for carrying heroin

Mandi, December 21

The police have seized 337 gram heroin worth of Rs, 1 crore in Mandi district from two  natives of Ambala.

According to police, both the accused were travelling towards Mandi from Ambala in an Alto car, when police party on patrolling stopped the vehicle for checking.

During checking police recovered the illicit contraband and apprehended the both accused under NDPS act.

According to police, it is biggest single catch so far in Himachal Pradesh. Previous one was 320 gm by Hamirpur two weeks back.

Confirming the report, SP Mandi Shalini Agnihotri said that investigation is underway to know more details about this case and connection of both accused in Mandi to expand their narcotics trade.
