Mumbai, August 24
Seventeen individuals had been injured after a five-storeyed residential constructing collapsed in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Monday, police stated.
Around 70 persons are feared trapped within the particles after the constructing, which was round 10 years previous, collapsed at Kajalpura in Mahad tehsil round 7 pm, an official stated.
There had been round 45 flats within the constructing, the official stated, including 25 individuals have been rescued and shifted to an area hospital at Mahad, which is round 170 km from Mumbai.

Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been moved to the spot for rescue operations.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray spoke to the district officers and requested them to expedite the rescue and aid work, one other official stated.
A viral video of the collapse confirmed a plume of mud rising from the place the constructing had stood.
Another video confirmed police attempting to manage a number of onlookers gathered on the collapse website. PTI
