Challenge Accepted: Why ladies are posting black-and-white pictures of themselves

Women the world over proceed to put up black-and-white pictures of themselves in an web problem to assist ladies’s empowerment with the hashtag ‘Challenge Accepted’, drawing each praises and derision.

Women—known and unknown, Indian and foreign—have joined the trigger, posting black-and-white pictures of themselves on Instagram and nominating one other lady of their wake to take up the problem. From Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, to Indian celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Rashmi Desai, ladies are posting their pictures on Instagram to ship a message of solidarity.

Even whereas the problem continues to assemble super response, what’s much less recognized is the actual motive behind the challenge—the rising atrocities towards ladies in Turkey.
