You’ll all the time be my captain: Kohli to Dhoni

Chandigarh, August 16

Indian cricket group captain Virat Kohli, who had been groomed for the highest job for a number of years by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, paid him the last word tribute as Dhoni retired from worldwide cricket. “I’ve always said this and I will say it again, you will always be my captain!” Kohli stated.

Kohli and Dhoni have shared wonderful rapport over the previous couple of years, and Kohli has stood by his former captain whilst requires the sacking of Dhoni turned louder during the last two years.

In a video tribute posted on-line, Kohli stated Dhoni’s retirement had left him in need of phrases. “Words fall short a lot of times in life and I think this is one of those moments. All I can say is that you will always be that guy who sat in the last seat of the bus (sic),” Kohli stated. “We have shared a great camaraderie, friendship, understanding because we have always played for the same roles, same goals, which was to make the team win.”

“It’s been a pleasure playing under you, alongside you. You showed belief in me, which I would always be grateful for,” he added.
